 Finally, Finally one of my favorite Gospel Divas, Damita is back and this time with a sound that is surely going to blow you away! I have been a huge fan of this young lady for a while and has always thought she never got the credit she is due, and I pray that this is her huge breakthrough album, plain and simple. Oh, did I mention that the first track on the CD is called “Plain and Simple”? Damita shows her vocal skills on not just Contemporary Christian and urban flavors, but also Reggae; yes you heard right, Reggae, “Best Thing” on which she did an excellent job. She solidifies herself as a versatile artist that knows what her fans want to hear. Produced by Gerald Haddon, Tim & Bob, Courtney Horton David Garcia and her husband Deitrick Haddon, this project is a sure sign that there is “no looking back” for Damita.
